Class
Okay, so I don't have a problem with our class, but I do find it a little ironic. A lot of us have talked about how technology is taking over and we can't really function without it etc. etc. However, we have a 3 hour class that involves using our computer the entire time? I know that personally, I feel like I'm getting lazier and lazier, and sitting for 3 hours feels like such a waste sometimes. I wish that we could be more interactive sometimes, getting up and doing something because I just feel lazy. I enjoy the class, and I think there is a great dynamic, but I would like to get up more often.

I agree with you that it is totally ironic. I also see how were on the computer for the three hours, trying to learn how to use technology in a way that will benefit us more. But I also think the technology is making us lazier and lazier. I remember being in the dorms last year, and iming, or texting a friend right down the hall instead of going to talk to them in person. Haha, oh well.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's so much ironic as it is appropriate. How do you learn about using technology if you yourself aren't using it? And I guess I don't have much of a problem with sitting for three hours. I mean, it's no different than my three hour lectures. I'd just really like to get away from my computer screen. My homework and my classwork are all online... I miss being able to sit in bed with my books and notebooks and NOT hearing that hmmm of my laptop...
